Effective date: 5 November 2026

Operator: Ihsaanify Technologies Limited, a company registered in Nigeria, registration number 8339894
Business address: 2A, Rock Road, off Isa Kaita Road, U/Rimi, Kaduna, Nigeria
Contact: admin@ihsaanifyapp.com
Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy

1. Our agreement with you

These Terms govern your use of the Ihsaanify application, its related website and the services we provide through them (the “Service”). “Ihsaanify,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean the operator identified above.

Please read these Terms before accepting them. By selecting “I agree” or another clearly labelled acceptance control presented with these Terms, you enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service. Keep a copy for your records.

Any plan-specific conditions will be shown before you purchase or activate that plan. They apply only to that plan and take priority over these Terms only for an expressly identified difference. Mandatory legal rights always take priority.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ihsaanify. If applicable law requires a higher minimum age for your use of the Service, that higher age applies. Children under 13 must not create an account or submit personal information.

If you are under 18 or have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf and authorise your use of the Service. Where the law requires parental consent for processing your personal information, that consent must be obtained and verified before the relevant processing begins. If the required authorisation or consent cannot be obtained, you must not use the affected Service or feature. A statement that you have permission does not replace any verification required by law.

If you are a parent or guardian authorising a minor’s use, you must have legal authority to do so. Please contact admin@ihsaanifyapp.com if you believe a child is using the Service without the required authorisation or below the applicable minimum age.

Provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date. Protect your login credentials, use appropriate security on your devices and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not impersonate another person or access another person's account without permission.

You are responsible for activity you authorise and for taking reasonable steps to protect your account. This does not make you responsible for a security failure caused by us or remove rights you have concerning unauthorised payments. We may reasonably verify your identity before restoring access or responding to an account request.

3. What Ihsaanify provides

Ihsaanify offers tools to support Islamic practice and personal organisation. Depending on your version and plan, these may include prayer information and tracking, Quran reading and listening, duas, fasting records, journals, tasks, calendars, focus sessions, reminders, alarms and progress summaries.

The features available to you are those described in the Service and, for purchases, at checkout. Availability may depend on your device, operating system, location, connection and subscription. A preview, discussion of a future feature or product roadmap is not a commitment to deliver it. We aim to serve users internationally, but do not promise availability in every country. Distribution and particular features may be restricted where required by applicable law or app-store requirements. The paid-service protections in sections 14 and 15 continue to apply.

We will provide the Service with the care and skill required by applicable law. The limitations below explain the nature of the tools; they do not excuse misleading descriptions or remove our legal obligations.

4. Religious content and calculations

Ihsaanify supports personal practice and learning. It does not issue binding religious rulings, determine the validity or acceptance of worship, or replace advice from a qualified scholar familiar with your circumstances.

Prayer times, fasting times and Islamic calendar dates can differ with location, time zone, calculation method, school of jurisprudence, local practice and moon-sighting decisions. Where available, Qibla directions also depend on device sensors, calibration and surroundings. Check your settings, especially when travelling, and verify important timings and dates with a trusted local mosque or religious authority where appropriate.

Translations and transliterations are aids to understanding and pronunciation. They are not substitutes for the original Arabic text or qualified instruction. Interpretations, translations and source classifications can differ. Personal duas and other user-entered text are not authenticated Quranic verses or prophetic narrations merely because they appear in the app.

Streaks, completion marks, focus hours and other progress indicators record activity within the Service. They do not measure faith, spiritual worth, religious reward or acceptance of worship. Corrections, syncing delays and changes to your entries may affect these records.

Please report suspected errors in religious content with the relevant passage, screen and source, if known, to admin@ihsaanifyapp.com. We may correct or temporarily remove disputed content while reviewing it.

5. Reminders, alarms and productivity tools

Adhan, Tahajjud and wake alarms, fasting and sleep reminders, task alerts and other notifications depend on device settings and platform capabilities. Battery restrictions, notification permissions, silent or focus modes, connectivity, time-zone changes, software faults and device shutdowns can delay or prevent delivery.

Check permissions, sound settings, dates and time zones, and test important alarms on your device. Use an independent backup for time-critical commitments. Ihsaanify is not an emergency alert system or a tool designed for safety-critical use.

Review dates and times created by smart text or other automatic scheduling before saving. You remain responsible for deciding what to schedule and verifying your entries. We do not guarantee that using Ihsaanify will achieve a particular productivity, learning or religious outcome.

6. Health and wellbeing

Fasting, sleep and reflection features provide organisational or general informational support. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or monitoring. They do not determine whether fasting, a sleep pattern or another activity is safe for you. Obtain appropriate professional advice about individual health concerns, and qualified religious advice about relevant exemptions or obligations. Journals and support channels are not monitored emergency or crisis services.

7. Permission to use the Service

While you comply with these Terms, we allow you to install and use the Service on devices you own or are authorised to use, for your own lawful personal activities and internal work planning within your plan's limits. This permission is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable except where applicable platform rules or law permit otherwise. It ends when your right to use the Service ends under section 15.

We or our licensors retain rights in the software, branding, original designs and other protected materials we provide. We do not claim ownership of your content or exclusive ownership of the Quran or religious teachings. Particular translations, recordings, fonts, compilations and other materials may have their own rights holders and licence conditions.

You may use the app's authorised sharing and download functions for their intended purposes, subject to any displayed attribution or licence conditions. Availability in the app does not grant unrestricted commercial reuse. Open-source and separately licensed materials remain subject to their applicable licences; these Terms do not restrict rights those licences give you.

8. Your content

You retain the rights you have in your journals, personal duas, tasks, notes, recordings and other material you enter or upload (“Your Content”). You must have the rights needed to submit it and must not unlawfully disclose another person's confidential or personal information.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to process, store, transmit, back up and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to provide the features you use, secure and maintain the Service, carry out your instructions and meet legal obligations. We may allow service providers acting for us to perform those activities under appropriate obligations. This permission does not authorise us to publish private entries, use them in advertising or train general-purpose AI models on them.

If you deliberately use a sharing function, you authorise delivery to the recipients or external service you select. Recipients may retain copies outside Ihsaanify's control. Entering content in a private journal or personal dua is not, by itself, permission to make it public.

This permission ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, except for limited retention described in the Privacy Policy or required by law, including backups awaiting deletion. Retained copies remain subject to these purpose limits. Deletion does not recall copies you have already shared with others.

Keep a separate copy of material important to you. Syncing and storage can fail, and account deletion may be irreversible. This advice does not remove our responsibility for failures for which the law makes us liable.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

These restrictions do not prohibit conduct protected by applicable law. Report security concerns privately to admin@ihsaanifyapp.com and avoid accessing or disclosing other users' data.

10. Subscriptions, trials and payment

Purchase information. Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play; Ihsaanify does not offer direct billing. Before you purchase, the checkout will identify the seller or billing provider, price, currency, applicable taxes, billing period, included features and any renewal or trial conditions. Only use a payment method you are authorised to use. Your network provider or bank may impose separate charges.

Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically only if this is disclosed and you authorise recurring payment at checkout. It renews for the stated period at the disclosed rate unless cancelled by the applicable deadline. We will provide notices and obtain any additional consent required by law or the billing platform.

Trials. A trial converts to a paid subscription only on the terms shown when you enrol. Those terms will identify its duration, the first charge, billing frequency and how and when to cancel. If you do not want to pay, cancel by that deadline. We will honour the trial conditions already accepted unless fraud, abuse or law requires otherwise.

Cancellation. Cancel your subscription through the subscription controls of the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it. Follow the deadline shown by your billing provider. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and leaves paid access available until the end of the current period, unless the offer, a refund or law provides otherwise. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Do not assume an account deletion request cancels a separately managed store subscription; check and cancel it with the billing provider.

Refunds and statutory rights. Except where the purchase terms, these Terms or applicable law provide otherwise, cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for a partly used billing period. This does not limit rights relating to faulty or misdescribed services, unauthorised charges, cooling-off periods or other mandatory remedies. For store-billed purchases, use that store's refund process; contact us if you need help. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law. Where legally required, any request to begin performance during a withdrawal period and any resulting loss of a withdrawal right will be obtained separately; acceptance of these Terms alone does not waive that right.

Price changes. A price increase applies only to a future billing period. We will give at least 30 days' advance notice, or a longer period required by law or platform rules, and an opportunity to cancel before the increase. Where consent is required, we will obtain it before charging the new price.

Payment problems. If payment fails, we may notify you, retry payment as permitted by the billing arrangement and suspend paid features until payment is resolved. We will not charge penalties that were not disclosed and legally permitted. Contact us promptly about billing errors; nothing here restricts lawful payment disputes.

11. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we process it, service providers and international transfers, retention, security and your rights. Acceptance of these Terms is not blanket consent to processing sensitive information, marketing, tracking or session recording. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately and can be withdrawn as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Your entries and usage can reveal sensitive matters, including religious practice and health-related information. Consider what you enter and share, and review device and account privacy controls. Our processing of that information must comply with applicable law.

We may send account, security, billing and service notices through your registered contact details or the app. Optional promotional communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Manage optional notifications in the app or your device settings.

12. Other services and integrations

If you choose to connect a calendar, authentication provider or another external service, its own terms and privacy practices apply to its operations. Review the permissions before connecting it. Your instructions authorise only the access and transfers needed for the connection you choose, as explained at the time and in our Privacy Policy.

We do not control independent services or linked websites, and their availability may change. A link does not itself mean endorsement. This does not exclude our responsibility for our own integration, representations or choice and supervision of processors where the law makes us responsible.

Downloads from an app store are also subject to its applicable rules and any software licence identified at download. Mandatory store conditions control any direct conflict concerning distribution or the app licence; these Terms govern our service relationship to the extent consistent with those conditions and applicable law.

13. Intellectual property complaints

Send suspected infringement reports to admin@ihsaanifyapp.com. Identify the work or right, the disputed material and its location, your contact details and the basis for your authority to complain. Supply enough information for us to investigate without disclosing unrelated private information. We may request further information, restrict access to disputed material and follow any legally required notice, response or appeal procedure. Deliberate or repeated infringement may lead to suspension or termination.

14. Updates and changes to the Service

We may update the Service for security, legal compliance, compatibility, error correction and product improvement. Some updates may be needed for continued use. We may change free features on reasonable notice where practical.

For a material reduction of paid features during a prepaid period, we will give reasonable advance notice and explain your options. If we cannot continue substantially providing the purchased service, you may end the affected subscription and receive an appropriate refund for the unused period, together with any additional remedy required by law. Where a store manages billing, we will explain and assist with the applicable process.

Urgent security or legal reasons may require immediate changes. We will explain significant changes as soon as reasonably possible unless doing so is prohibited or would compromise security.

15. Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, open Ihsaanify Settings and select “Delete Account”, then follow the confirmation steps. For help with deletion, contact admin@ihsaanifyapp.com. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are distinct actions, as explained in section 10.

We may proportionately restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, non-payment, fraud, security risk or legal requirement. When appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue. Immediate action may be necessary where delay risks harm or is unlawful. You may contact us to challenge an error.

We may terminate an account for serious or repeated breaches, an unremedied material breach, or where continued provision is unlawful. If we discontinue the Service for business reasons, we will ordinarily give at least 30 days' notice, a reasonable opportunity to retrieve Your Content and an appropriate refund of prepaid fees for the unused period.

After termination, access may end and Your Content will be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements. Where lawful and technically feasible, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve it before deletion. Restrictions on retrieval may be necessary for security or legal reasons. We will honour any mandatory access or portability rights.

Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations, refund rights or claims arising before termination. Provisions about ownership, limited retained-content permissions, liability and dispute resolution continue only to the extent needed for their purpose.

16. Service limitations and liability

Rights that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer guarantees, data-protection rights and remedies remain available.

Service limitations. Subject to those rights and our express commitments, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, delivery of every notification, perfect calculations, or a particular personal outcome. To the extent legally permitted, other implied warranties are excluded. These limitations do not override features, standards or remedies that we expressly promise or that the law requires.

Types of loss. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made. As a consumer, you retain any right to recover foreseeable losses caused by our breach or failure to exercise legally required care. If you use the Service for business purposes, we exclude lost profits, lost business opportunities and indirect or consequential business losses to the extent legally permitted.

17. Responsibility for unlawful misuse

You are responsible for your own unlawful conduct and infringement of others' rights. Where legally permitted, we may seek compensation for reasonable, documented losses directly caused by your intentional unlawful misuse or deliberate infringement. We will take reasonable steps to minimise those losses. This does not require you to compensate us for our own fault, pay an automatic penalty or surrender a legal defence.

18. Complaints, governing law and courts

Please send complaints to admin@ihsaanifyapp.com, describing the issue and the remedy you seek. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly. Contacting us first is encouraged but does not prevent you from seeking urgent relief, contacting a regulator or exercising a legal right within the applicable deadline.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections available under the laws that apply where you habitually live.

Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Nigeria. You may bring a consumer claim in your home courts wherever applicable law gives you that right. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive collective-action rights.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms to reflect legal requirements, security needs or changes to the Service. We will identify the effective date and give at least 30 days' notice of material changes through the app or your registered contact details, unless a shorter period is reasonably necessary for legal or urgent security reasons.

Changes apply prospectively. We will obtain fresh acceptance where required by law or where a material change requires your agreement. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and cancel renewal. If a change materially disadvantages your existing prepaid service, you may end that service and request an appropriate refund for the unused period. A revised term does not retroactively change the terms governing an existing dispute.

20. General provisions

These Terms and the plan-specific conditions you accepted form the agreement for the Service, without excluding representations or protections that the law preserves. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where they can operate lawfully. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.

We may transfer this agreement as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale if doing so does not materially reduce your rights. We will notify you where required. A transfer does not authorise new uses of personal information contrary to the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
